School Program Arrival Procedures
Most of our school program groups arrive by bus. Review our arrival procedures for skiers & snowboarders or snow tubers and snowshoers to ensure a quick and easy arrival process for you and your students.
Skiers & Snowboarders
Important
Students remain on the bus!
Tickets
Teacher/supervisor proceeds to the Snow School Desk in the main lobby to notify of arrival and obtain tickets. Students must affix their lift tickets prior to departing the bus.
Procedure and Safety Talk
Snow Valley staff board buses to explain important organizational and safety procedures.
Rental Shop
Snow Valley staff and teachers/supervisors take students renting equipment to the rental shop where they hear a short explanation of the rental procedure before getting equipment.
Personal Effects
Coin lockers and storage bunks are in the rental shop. We highly recommend storing valuable materials including expensive shoes in our coin lockers. Snow Valley is not responsible for any missing personal effects.
Stripe Testing & Lessons
Skiers and Snowboarders take a "Stripe Test." Beginner students start lessons immediately after leaving the rental shop. Novice to Advanced students are informed of lesson times and meeting place on the bus and at the "Stripe Test."
Tubers & Snowshoers
Important
Students remain on the bus!
Tickets
Teacher/supervisor proceeds to the Ticket Counter in the Tubing Chalet to notify of arrival and obtain tickets. Students must affix their lift tickets prior to departing the bus.
Procedure and Safety Talk
Snow Valley staff board buses to explain important organizational and safety procedures. Students are escorted to the Tubing chalet to watch a short safety video.
Snowshoe Rentals
Snow Valley staff will escort students to snowshoe rental area to be fitted and introduced to their guide.
Personal Effect
Limited number of coin lockers are available. Snow Valley is not responsible for any missing personal effects.
Snowshoers & Physics
Students will be assigned their educational assistant.
