Snow!

Mother Nature had a look at her calendar last night and woke up and provided us with our first snow fall of the season, finally!

It is great to see the hills look white again unfortunately the forecast doesn't look to promising for tomorrow with warmer temperatures forecasted.

Karl Pavasars, our snowmaking forecast guru is thinking potential for a wet snowfall in the 10cm range during early Thurs, then snowsqualls Thurs afternoon into Fri. Pretty sure the ground is white on Fri. Wet bulb likely gets down to -4C or -5C for a couple of hours Fri night and Sat night, but quite a bit of wind should keep wet bulb from falling below -5C...not really a good snow making set-up as yet, but might be able to make a couple hours or wet snow both nights.

Lets hope his forecast is correct, with things looking better for an opening day of Saturday December 12th.
