School Program Lessons & Certification

Learning = Fun!  Snow Valley is the originator of a fun and innovative learning outdoor recreation environment! We want each student to receive instruction and demonstrate their capabilities before moving on.

Stripe Evaluation

All students are tested to determine their skiing or snowboarding ability and to restrict access to ability specific terrain. Green stripes allow students use of green circle runs. Blue stripes allow use of green circle, blue square, and black diamond runs. Purple stripes allow those skiers/snowboarders with a lot of experience to use our freestyle terrain. Beginner skiers and snowboarders may try the stripe test at the conclusion of their lessons.

Adventure Centre

Unlike traditional ski classes, our unique Adventure Centre allows your students to develop skills at their own pace. Seven stations provide a fun environment for the development of:

  1. Mobility & Balance
  2. Stopping

  5. Fun slalom course is set to encourage speed control, turns & controlled stops
