Lift Operations Supervisor

Part-Time Seasonal Position

Snow Valley’s Lift Operations Department is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented individual for the part-time seasonal position of Lift Operations Supervisor.  This position includes evening and weekend shifts.

Position Summary -Reporting to the Lift Operations Manager

The tasks include:

  • Assist with employee recruitment including attending job fairs, conducting staff interviews and completion of all onboarding paperwork
  • Supervise all Lift and parking lot staff and outdoor activities daily including scheduling and attendance records
  • Ensure Snow Valley Heath & Safety policies, MOL and OHSA standards are maintained
  • Respond to calls for assistance, customer service, staff and emergencies
  • Work under the direction of the Lift Operations Manager and Duty Manager
  • Operation of snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles

Qualifications and Experience

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of winter weather conditions
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Comfortable in public speaking roles and use of 2-way communication radios
  • Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, Ontario Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Computer literacy in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office applications
