Reminder: Ski & Board Programs Delayed Start

Ski & Snowboard Programs Start Dates Pushed Back

Unless you have been hiding under a rock lately, and we certainly wouldn't blame you for it, you know that our ski, snowboard and snow tubing operations have been shuttered by the recent provincial shutdown.

Start dates for all programs have been pushed back to take in the 28-day closure. Currently, we are expecting to offer our winter Snow School lesson programs and our private lesson bookings. We will be announcing details on our lesson programs on January 15th. We are anticipating 10 weeks of fantastic conditions from January 23rd until Easter weekend. Of course, we will be following the guidance of the Province of Ontario and the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit in the delivery of any lesson program.

Know that Snow Valley and the other Ontario Snow Sport operators are hard at work making snow, grooming and fine tuning our operations as we anticipate getting back on the slopes January 23rd.

Once we re-open we will all need to continue to follow our Covid-19 Operational Guidelines, if we are to have a successful re-opening. Please also take time and read our industry’s Ski Well Be Well document at the Ontario Ski Resort Association website.  As skiers/riders and outdoor enthusiasts, we need to follow public health rules to reduce Covid-19 case counts.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to assess this evolving situation. We anticipate heavy call, email and social media volume with reduced staffing and appreciate guests’ understanding as we work hard to respond to all inquiries. Please email info@skisnowvalley.com with any questions and requests and we will respond in order of receipt.  While this is a disappointing reality, the health and safety of our guests and employees continue to be the highest priority.

From our Snow Valley Family to yours, we wish you Happy Holidays and a Happy, Healthy & Safe New Year!

We hope to see everyone back on the slopes soon!
