Snow Valley Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) statement as 12:30PM Sunday March 15, 2020
Snow Valley Resort will cease regular operations for the season beginning the morning of Monday March 16th. All lift and snowtubing operations will be closed.
As you are all aware, the current situation around Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is rapidly evolving and recent developments led us to make the difficult decision to close our skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing areas at this time. This decision will affect our guests and employees, and our local community. We will be continually following the developments with the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) locally and globally and adjust our operations accordingly.
All scheduled programming for March Break is cancelled. We are developing credit and refund policies that reflect these trying times. We ask for your patience as we develop these policies. Best efforts will be made to develop fair and equitable credits and we will be listening to your feedback. Please be aware that we are expecting a large volume of calls and emails, and we appreciate your patience. At the same time, we are developing plans to reduce the impact of this closure for our employees. The early end to our season will affect our seasonal workforce as they transition into the summer season.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has and will cause to individuals. The speed of the changes and development of the spread of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has affected the world in unprecedented ways. Here at Snow Valley we are working to reduce the impact our decision has had on our guests and employees.
