Saturday is Canadian Ski Patrol Day
This Saturday is Canadian Ski Patrol Day! Come on out
to help our patrollers celebrate being part of a national
not-for-profit organization of volunteers that has been promoting
safety and providing first aid and rescue services at
area snow resorts for over 50 years.
Along with the regular fun and excitement at the resort the
Snow Valley Ski Patrol will be adding to the
family fun with Ski Patrol toboggan rides, free face
painting, a safety scavenger hunt and a visit by a special guest,
Tony the Toque for the kids.
Stop by the main chalet to sample treats at the bake sale
table and purchase your raffle tickets for some great prizes
from Snow Valley and local businesses. You could
win one of 3 ski weekends for two, ski wear,
Snow Valley lift tickets and more!
Saturday is also an opportunity to find out more about the the Canadian Ski Patrol
and it's 4,000 plus members across Canada. If you love to ski or
snowboard and think you might like to become a patroller, come
on out and talk to members of the Snow Valley
Patrol. Festivities get underway at 9am and run till
2pm. All proceeds go to help fund training and operating
costs for the dedicated volunteers of the Canadian Ski Patrol
in the southern Ontario.
