Rate: $16.90 – $17.95/hr
Term: Mid December to end of March
Job Overview:
We are looking for positive and energetic, strong skiers and snowboarders who aspire to become professional instructors. The primary role is to assist our Certified Ski and Snowboard Instructors with ski or snowboard education and instruction for guests of all ages and abilities. You do not need to be an expert, but you must be comfortable on all hills at Snow Valley and have a desire to create fantastic winter memories for our guests.
This position is for individuals who enjoy working with children, have excellent communication skills, are safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team. If you can bring energy, enthusiasm, and stamina, this could be for you! This is a fun, fast-paced job with ongoing training opportunities, job support, and room to grow.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Candidates must be 14 years of age or older.
- Candidates must have their own ski or snowboard equipment.
- Candidates must be able to work all Saturdays and Sundays from the first weekend in January to March Break, or at least three full days Monday through Thursday.
- Additional opportunities for hours are available on evenings and over holiday breaks.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Successful applicants 18 years of age and older must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check.
