All students are tested for their ability as soon as they have their equipment. Only those who can turn and stop reliably have stripes affixed to their lift ticket which allow them to go outside of the Adventure Learning Centre.
Snow Valley is committed to offering programs fully comparable to other areas at more affordable rates. "Price Break Mondays" mean every child can experience skiing. Bursary support for special cases.
We are the closest of Barrie's ski and snowboard areas. Driving time is less than an hour from Toronto and minutes from Barrie. Less time driving means happier students and staff.
These are our priorities for a quality experience. All participants wearing one of our school lift tickets are required to wear a helmet. All students are tested for their ability as soon as they have their equipment.
Only those who can reliably turn and stop have stripes affixed to their lift ticket, which allow them to go outside of the Adventure Learning Centre. Beginner skiers and riders proceed directly to the Adventure Centre and/or Ride Centre.

No skill or special clothing is required. 3 lifts, fourteen runs.

Our 17km of marked trails feature interpretive signage that educates about the local flora and fauna.
