On the Camper Wellness Form you will be able to make a friend request, however there are no guarantees. Considerations that are made when making camper groups include ratio of campers to counsellor, age of campers, and what is best for the whole of the group. Within each of our age categories, Explorer and Adventurer, we break the groups down by age even further so that there is typically a group of 4 year old’s, a group of 5 years old’s etc.

All camp counsellors are certified in first aid and CPR. However, Discovery Camp counsellors DO NOT administer medications (unless it is an emergency, such as using an EpiPen – please see our accompanying anaphylaxis policy). If your child needs medication throughout the day, please arrange for a parent or a designated person to come and do so. Also, please ensure this information is communicated clearly on the application form when enrolling your child.

Our camp zone is a parent free zone 😊 You will not be able to accompany your camper right to their group, however, you can walk them to the drop off zone for goodbyes and hugs! If walking your child into the drop zone instead of driving into the “kiss and ride” we ask that you please park in the parking lot, and watching for traffic, walk across the crosswalk to the drop zone tent.

While Discovery Camp is dedicated to being inclusive and providing a supportive and safe environment to explore and grow, it may not be the best fit for every camper. Currently, we do not offer one-on-one care and supervision so a few things below to consider about your camper’s needs before registering. Please contact summercamp@skisnowvalley.com if you have any questions.

  • Is extra support is required at school?
  • Is extra support required at home for basic needs such as bathroom breaks or mealtime?
  • Does a disability exist that could affect the safety of the camper or other campers registered?
  • Are there are behaviours to be managed i.e.: running, biting, scratching?

When completing the Camper Registration Form, we ask that you identify your Parent/Guardian and Emergency Contact information. Any other authorized pick-up personnel can also be listed with contact information and relation. All pick-up personnel will require photo ID to ensure the safety of all camp participants.

See our fun and exciting theme weeks.
