Snowshoe Adventures in Barrie Ontario

Embrace winter with a pair of snowshoes!

Whether you’re new to snowshoeing or out for a longer winter walk, our Ontario snowshoe trails offer options for every skill level and pace.

Our snowshoe trails are dog friendly, so feel free to bring your four legged trail companion along. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, and we ask that owners please scoop and pack out after them.

When you’re finished on the trails, stick around and warm up by the bonfire. Grab a hot drink and a fresh donut from the Snow Nut Hut, or head into the tube chalet cafeteria for more food and warmth.

Snowshoeing at Snow Valley

Snowshoeing is an easy way to get outside and explore winter together. Whether you’re planning a family outing, a quiet walk in nature, or a school trip, our trails offer something for every pace and interest.

With 17 km of snowshoe trails across six routes, there’s room to wander or challenge yourself. From the short, flat Red Trail to the steady climb of the Yellow Trail, you can choose your own adventure and change it up every visit.

Our Interpretive Trail System adds another layer to the experience. Three connected loops share one living story of the land, the wildlife, and the people who have shaped it. Walk one loop or all three and discover how wetlands, forests, and local history are woven together along the way.
