Snow Valley's Official Drone Policy
Snow Valley Resorts (1987) Ltd. (Snow Valley Resorts) strictly prohibits operating or using aerial drones, remotely piloted aircraft systems, model aircraft and remote-control aircraft from being flown over our ski runs, tubing chutes, chalets and parking areas. These prohibitions include drone filming or videotaping and any drone used by media or journalists operating above resort properties. This prohibition on drone use extends to any drone launched or operated from Snow Valley Resorts and drones launched from private property outside Snow Valley Resorts boundaries.
Any authorized operation of aerial drones may be governed by Transport Canada, the Aeronautics Act, the Canadian Aviation Regulations, local law enforcement, and those policies separately established by Snow Valley Resorts. These policies may include certification, training, insurance coverage, indemnification requirements and waivers or release of liability. Any violation of this policy may involve suspension of guest privileges at Snow Valley Resorts, including skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing or snowshoeing, as well as confiscation of any equipment and may subject violators to any damage, including but not limited to damages for violations of privacy and /or physical or personal injuries, or regulatory fines and legal fees.
