Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting staff in the Food & Beverage department, including Duffy's Lounge, and Janitorial, in completing their jobs. As a front-line employee you will assist guests and staff in a friendly and efficient manner. Applicants will have a minimum of five years' experience in the food service industry. A Smart Serve certification will be required as well as food safety certification. You will be expected to work days, evening, weekends and holidays. The position will be full-time seasonal.

Guest Services Supervisor

As a Guest Services Supervisor you will be part of the supervisory team that will work and direct staff in the Rental and Repair area, in the Ski Boutique, and in Pass and Ticket Sales. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Familiarity with hand tools and the ability to do careful work are important for staff in the rental and repair area. Careful and systematic work routines are important in the boutique and ticket area. As a Guest Service Supervisor you are also responsible for merchandising, pricing, and inventory control; cash handling and processing transactions and cashing out procedures.

Lift Supervisor

 As a lift supervisor you will be responsible for leading a large team of employees, your focus will be on leading others to provide fantastic customer service and creating a safe environment both for the customer and employee. This position requires leadership and supervisor abilities as well as some physical labour including holding chairs, lifting and carrying snow and operation of a Snowmobile.

Essential Functions

* Safe Operation of the ski lifts
* Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage; you will be expected to report all equipment problems to the Operations Manager. You need to ensure the equipment is taken care of and that includes regular maintenance and repair.
* You will be expected to ensure that all Snow Valley property is kept in good repair and used in the proper manner
* Assist with ski lift and snow maintenance operations
* Follow proper opening and closing procedures
* Perform daily lift checks, complete timely logs, workplace inspections, accident, and/or lift reports
* Maintain safety and operating guidelines of lifts and lift ramps as per Z-98 Code requirements.
* Conduct incident investigations/ handle emergency situations
* Follow lock-out procedures
* Effective communication via radios
* Conduct or arrange for employee health and safety and hazard specific training

Snow Tubing Park Supervisor

Tube Park Supervisors are responsible for supervising a team of 25+ on a daily shift; assigning duties, recognizing workplace hazards, promoting teamwork, creating schedules and record keeping. Communication is key as the supervisor works closely with other departments. The Tube Park Supervisor requires previous supervisory experience and the ability to engage actively in a very fast paced environment.  Other attributes and skills that would allow the successful candidate to succeed would be; cash handling experience, proficiency with online software and programs, enjoy working outside in a winter environment, organizational & administrative skills. Snow Tubing Special Events Team (part time)

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to help promote our popular activity of Snow Tubing around our local area.  This team will be travelling around the region, representing Snow Valley at different community and special events.  The successful candidates will need to enjoy being outside and interacting with large groups of people.  This position requires you to be operating a portable snow tubing slide at events.  Many of these events will occur on weekends, holidays and evenings, so candidates are required to work these shifts.

Snowmaking Technician (Full-Time Seasonal Only)

Snowmaking Technicians are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our snowmaking system. Snowmaking is a 24hr, 7 day a week operation that is constantly evolving as each shift changes. You responsible for creating and maintaining snow levels across the entire resort using high pressure air & water to ensure excellent snow quality for our guests. You will maintain snowmaking equipment before, during and after use to ensure efficient performance and safety of equipment. You will be responsible for checking snow texture and making adjustments as needed, reporting to the Snowmaking Supervisor any changes in weather and be in constant communication with the entire crew. Snowmaking keeps you outside in all weather so an enjoyment of the outdoors is a must.
