Looking to upgrade your ski or snowboard gear without spending a fortune? The annual Barrie Ski & Snowboard Swap & Sale, hosted at Snow Valley and organized by the Canadian Ski Patrol, is back! Whether you’re buying or selling, this community-favourite event is the best way to get ready for winter.

Sell Your Gear with Ease

Have gently used equipment you’re no longer using? Bring it to the Day Lodge at Snow Valley during the Public Receiving Days:
— Wednesday, October 29 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm
— Thursday, October 30 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Here’s how it works:
— Swap staff will help you set a fair selling price
— Pay just $2 per item to register
— Track your items online to see if they’ve sold
— Pick up unsold items and/or your cheque on Sunday, November 2 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm (cheques can even be mailed if your items sell!)

👉 Please note: only alpine skis, snowboards, and ski/snowboard boots are accepted (no poles, helmets, clothing, or Nordic gear). Bindings over 10 years old cannot be serviced and won’t be accepted.

Why Participate?

This event is about more than just buying and selling. A 25% commission from all sales goes directly to supporting the Canadian Ski Patrol, helping them continue their vital safety and rescue work on the slopes.
