Position Type: Seasonal, Part Time & Full Time
Hours of Work: Variable, midweek days, weekends, evenings, holidays
Rate: $18.60 – $27.20/hr depending on certifications
Term: Mid December to end of March
Job Overview:
We are looking for coaches with all levels of certification in good standing. As a Race Coach on our team, you will be responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and skill development of the athletes assigned to you. This is a fun, fast-paced position with ongoing training opportunities, job support, and room to grow. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children of all ages and is enthusiastic, safety-conscious, reliable, personable, and able to work well as part of a team. This position may include coaching athletes from school groups, our house race squad, competitive racing teams, and adult race programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Candidates must be currently certified with ACA-CSC or registered for a certification course.
- The minimum commitment required for this position is both weekend days (Saturday and Sunday) or one weekend day and two evenings.
- There is an opportunity for additional hours over the Christmas holidays, March Break, and non-race lessons throughout the season.
- Successful applicants 18 years and older must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check.
