Job Overview:
Snowmaking Technicians are responsible for our snowmaking system’s safe and efficient operation. Snowmaking is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation constantly evolving as each shift changes. You are responsible for creating and maintaining snow levels across the entire resort using high-pressure air and water to ensure excellent snow quality for our guests. You will maintain snowmaking equipment before, during and after use to ensure efficient performance and safety of equipment. You will be responsible for checking snow texture and adjusting as needed, reporting to the Snowmaking Supervisor any weather changes and constantly communicating with the entire crew. Snowmaking keeps you outside in all weather, so enjoying the outdoors is necessary.
Snowmaking shifts are 12 hours long on an 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. schedule whenever favorable snowmaking conditions exist
