Pamela Disera:

Let’s talk about the why, when and where we pole plant.

So why we pull plant is for timing.

When we pull plant is at the end of one turn, beginning of the next. And where we pole plant is this.

So pole planting happens just down the hill, away from the tip of the ski look.

My hand comes forward, it’s a wrist action, it touches, I turn my feet, pole returns. That’s all the pole plant is.

So the why – simple just for timing.

The when – at the end of the turn and the where – just off the tip of the ski.

I look forward to meeting you on the slopes. From Snow Valley, I’m Pamela Disera.
