Pamela Disera:
I know the goal for many skiers is to get out of the wedge and become more parallel.
So if you’re one of those skiers and still have to use a wedge type, turn on something steeper.
I’m going to show you how to get rid of the wedge.
So wedge, steer the skis. Little steep. Here. I’m controlling my speed. I’m steering my skis. I’m looking ahead now. Now it’s flatter. Bring that wedge in just a little bit smaller.
Look at that. It’s not as wide as it was. And now it’s even gone.
Because I’m balanced, I’m facing down the hill. I’m steering both feet the way I want to go. I’m on the flats and I’m moving forward.
No need to do a big wedge on the flats. No need at all. Hey, I hope that helps.
I look forward to meeting you on the slopes
